I also led an economic workshop with CHAFRIC, a non-profit organization that, since 2001, has supported individuals from ethnocultural minority communities in their social, cultural, and economic integration. CHAFRIC turns individual stories into pathways of opportunity, helping open the door to more concrete and accessible economic inclusion.
During the workshop, we took time to reflect together on today’s business realities. Entrepreneurship is full of uncertainty, and while technology is accelerating change, it doesn’t always make it easier to predict. We also discussed timing: a good idea on its own isn’t always enough if the market or the tools aren’t yet ready to support it.
Finally, one fundamental point came out of the discussion: the importance of diversity within teams. In a country like Canada, diversity is not just a social reality, it is a real strength.
Different backgrounds, experiences, and ways of thinking coming together allow us to better understand complex problems, make stronger decisions, and build innovation that is more human and more connected to people’s everyday lives.
